Writing about the Bartosz Dworak Quartet's set at the 16th LOTOS Jazz Festival Bielska Zadymka Jazzowa, the blog "Dźwięki w mojej głowie" singled Kuba out: "A bow to double bassist Kuba Dworak, who showed real class both in his solos and in his accompaniment."

JazzPRESS announced the release of F.O.U.R.S. Collective's debut "Treezz" with the full lineup: Michał Salamon (piano, electric keyboards), Piotr Schmidt (trumpet), Stanisław Plewniak (saxophones, vocals), Kuba Dworak (double bass) and Szymon Madej (drums).

Bartosz Dworak Quartet – with Kuba on double bass – won the Grand Prix of the 16th Bielska Zadymka Jazzowa / LOTOS Jazz Festival competition (final on February 21, 2014). The prize included the "Jazz Angel" statuette, a live recording session at Polish Radio Katowice (which became the album "Live at Radio Katowice") and a vinyl pressing. The band then opened for Lizz Wright at the festival – a reviewer noted "a bow to double bassist Kuba Dworak, who showed great class both in his solos and throughout the performance". Jazzarium reports from the laureates' concert of Jazz Juniors 2013 in Kraków: "Bartosz Dworak, accompanied at the final concert by pianist Piotr Matusik, double bassist Kuba Dworak and drummer Szymon Madej."

Rzeczpospolita, one of Poland's main national dailies, reported on the Bartosz Dworak Quartet winning the competition at the Jazz Juniors festival in Kraków. Marek Dusza named the whole band, with Kuba Dworak on bass alongside drummer Szymon Madej and pianist Piotr Matusik.

Bartosz Dworak Quartet – with Kuba on double bass – won the Grand Prix of the 37th International Jazz Juniors Competition in Kraków, one of the most important competitions for young jazz bands in Poland. The main prize was 10,000 PLN. Read the report on rp.pl (in Polish).

An early listing from the Municipal Culture Centre in Skarżysko-Kamienna for the Michał Wierba Doppelganger Project, with a short bio: Kuba Dworak, then a third-year student in Adam Kowalewski's double bass class at the Academy of Music in Katowice, active in both jazz and hip-hop projects.

One of the earliest press mentions: Jazz Forum announced "Jazz nad Nidą" – the 8th Pińczów Jazz All Souls' Days – where the Mariia Guraievska Project performed with Kuba Dworak on double bass.

On May 20 at 9:30 PM, Janek Pawlak Squad will light up the stage at Jazz Club Hipnoza during the 7th Silesian Jazz Festival in Katowice. The talented ensemble features Janek Pawlak on vibraphone, Bartek Dworak on violin, Andrzej Gondek on guitar, Kuba Dworak on double bass, and Szymon Madej on drums.

Mikolaj L. Lipowski's report for Jazz Forum on the 41st International Jazz Workshops in Pulawy, held 7-17 July 2011 at the "Dom Chemika" arts centre, lists the rhythm sections that backed the soloists and singers. Kuba Dworak is named among the accompanists, on bass, alongside Michal Wierba on piano and Piotr Budniak on drums.
