Kajetan Borowski Trio – Kajetan Borowski (piano), Kuba Dworak (double bass) and Piotr Budniak (drums) – closed the "Idzie nowe!" series curated by Leszek Możdżer at Impart in Wrocław (ul. Mazowiecka 17, 9:30 PM). The series, organised by Strefa Kultury Wrocław, presents young Polish jazz groups hand-picked by Możdżer.

The Yumi Ito Trio played the Suoni Mobili festival at MAC Museo Arte Contemporanea in Lissone, near Milan. The festival programme lists Kuba Dworak on double bass alongside Yumi Ito and Iago Fernandez.

The English-language music site DMME.net reviewed the live album by The Flash! with Dustin Carlson, "Bujaka w gumiakach" (Hevhetia), writing that "Sławomir Pezda's slinky sax and Kuba Dworak's muscular bass weave around each other in a fervent dance".

JazzPRESS reviews "Bujaka w gumiakach" (Hevhetia, 2020) – a live album by The Flash! with Brooklyn guitarist Dustin Carlson, recorded at Alchemia in Kraków on April 25, 2019. Piotr Pepliński reviewed Yumi Ito's "Stardust Crystals" (Unit Records) for JazzPRESS: "Among the instrumentalists taking part in the session I spotted two Polish names – Izabella Effenberg (vibraphone, array mbira, crotales) and Kuba Dworak (double bass)."

Drummer and composer Václav Pálka releases "Poens." on HOUT Records – seven pieces recorded in Basel with Yumi Ito (voice), Fabian Willmann (reeds), Stephan Plecher (piano), a string quartet and guests Larry Grenadier and Jeff Ballard.
